I agree. With a sub-200 hp engine, I wouldn't buy it for speed anyway, but goddamn does it look sexy with its top down. Boxes have never looked so good to me, and isn't that what you want most of the time? I rarely need more performance from my car when tooling around, but I always want them girls to be checking me out. Also, if you're really worried about the rigidity, I've got one (two?) word(s) for you: rollcage.

If I had a garage I would get an e30 vert with a hard top. I think it is one of the best looking non-m3 e30's. Plus you can pull the top off on nice days.
